Orginal owner had car customized with "shark" rear end, fins and flared wheel wells etc. Car was in storage for 15 years when sold to local Corvette restoration firm, they put the car back into factory body parts and sold car to my neighbor, young guy who babied the car, after breaking his knee in a soccer accident (full leg cast) he put it on the market, I couldn't afford to buy it at the time so my brother-in-law (Classic Car Nut ) bought it and put the car in storage until thanksgiving of 2005 when I bought it from him. Restoration was started to make it a "show " car but due restrictions in my living situation (only 2 cars per household) it became my daily driver. Mileage on odometer is believed to correct according to my research. Restored 454 LS-5 Big Block, numbers matching, totally rebuilt in 2006 to 500HP standards with new 700 R-4 transmission.3200 RPM Locking Torque converter, 3.08 Posi rear. CHROME Hooker headers and side pipes, Body on restoration completed in 2006, frame off restoration complete in 1999 by local Corvette Specialist. 10K total miles on rebuild. Factory AC car with new Hot Rod Air 134A system. All A-Frames, shocks, struts, bushings replaced. Factory color Code 903 Millie Maglia resale red (3 coats Base & 3 coats Clear) exterior paint completed on 10/07.No cracks in fiberglass. Small paint chip on right headlight door, have matching paint to repair. New Firestone tires, a real show and go street machine, full documentation on upgrades,show winner in central Florida area. Ecklers C-3 Spring & Summer 2008 cover car. Owners daily driver. New Satellite AM/FM/CD Radio system. Engine and transmission, complete drive train built by local professionals. Engine was bored .030 over, block align bored, forged crank turned .010, speed pro 10.28 compression pistons, complete Comp Hydraulic cam and kit, heads ported and polished with Manley SS Valves, Edlebrock Performer Aluminum Intake, 800 CFM Edlebrock Carburator, Mallory Electronic Distributor, Everything Chromed and polished. PS, PB, PW, Exterior paint is in excellent condition, Interior is in good shape, showing normal wear for a daily driver, dash pad does have a crack at speaker grill. Seats and carpet are in good shape. This is a one of a kind daily driver and must be seen to be appreciated. Have full documentation on restoration, Car has a total of 47,500 actual miles but only 10K on running gear since restoration. Owner has many original parts for the purest, intake, carb, radio etc.other items, other Corvette documentation, owners manual,Chevrolet chassis manual, etc. BAD NEWS no spare tire, holder or jack for the car. Windshield Wipers work and all vacuum lines and controls have been replaced but I think I need to replace the Vacuum control solenoid under the dash to get cowl operating properly (now fastened open) clock doesn't work, fiber optics not installed. Alarms not operational. All other lights work properly including headlights, tail and stoplights, backup lights and turn signals. Headlight doors work properly.
